Description Spatial Focus was retained by the World Bank to be part of an Appraisal Mission to Cuzco Province reviewing ways of improving the quality of tourism in the Sacred Valley of the Inca, while increasing local business development and economic stability. Spatial Focus was responsible for identifying addressing systems in use, and possible locations for using them, along with evaluating existing geographic data, and defining methods for mapping both tourist-accessible historic and archaeological sites, but environmental and land planning data using GIS and remote sensed imagery. The use of recreational grade GPS for identifying doorways for address assignment was investigated.
